Terms of Service

1. Scope and Platform Role

These Terms of Service govern the use of the platform “Web-Universe.com” operated by crispy web e.a. GmbH & Co. KG.

Web-Universe.com is a platform for publishing and discovering domain names and digital assets. The platform acts solely as a technical intermediary and does not become a party to any contracts concluded between users.

2. Eligibility

The platform is primarily intended for business users (B2B). However, private individuals may also register and use the platform.

By registering, users confirm that all provided information is accurate and up to date.

3. User Accounts

• Users must create an account using a valid email address.
• Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
• Two-factor authentication via email may be enabled.
• Users may delete their account at any time via the platform.

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts in case of misuse or violation of these terms.

4. Listings and Fees

• Users may publish domain listings on the platform.
• The first listing may be free of charge.
• Additional listings and optional “featured” placements are subject to fees.
• Payments are processed via Stripe.

Fees are charged for the publication of listings only and do not constitute any guarantee of sale.

5. No Brokerage or Escrow

Web-Universe.com:

• does not act as a broker
• does not provide escrow services
• does not process payments between users

All negotiations, agreements, and transactions take place directly between users outside the platform.

6. Communication

The platform may provide a contact function that forwards inquiries to the listing owner via email.

• No internal messaging system is provided.
• No communication is stored on the platform.

7. User Obligations

Users agree:

• to only offer domains they are legally entitled to sell
• not to violate third-party rights (e.g. trademarks)
• not to publish illegal, misleading, or fraudulent listings

8. Liability

The platform operator is not liable for:

• the accuracy of listings
• the availability or ownership of domains
• any contracts or disputes between users

Liability is limited to cases of intent and gross negligence, where legally permissible.

9. Intellectual Property

Users retain all rights to their content but grant the platform a non-exclusive right to display listings for the purpose of operating the service.

10. Termination

Users may terminate their account at any time.

We reserve the right to terminate access in case of violations.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
