Sell your domain in four steps
You need a free account and access to the DNS settings of your domain.

Create your account.
Registration is free. You can save domains as drafts without limit.

Add your domain as a draft.
Enter the domain, description, price type and keywords.
- Step 3
Verify ownership with a TXT record.
Web-Universe.com generates a unique code. You add it as a TXT record at @ (root) and confirm it in the DNS check of your domain.
- Step 4
Publish and receive inquiries.
Interested buyers use the inquiry form on your listing page. You are notified by email.
A domain cannot be published without verified ownership.
What it costs to sell a domain
The first listing is free. Fees apply only to further listings and to the optional featured placement. There is no commission on the sale. All prices are net, plus statutory VAT at checkout.

Sell several domains as a bundle
Combine several domains under one total price. All domains in a bundle must be verified. Domains that are already published can be added to a bundle at no extra charge; for each unpublished domain in the bundle, the standard listing fee applies.
How a sale works
Web-Universe.com is a listing marketplace. We are not involved in the domain transfer or the payment.
Buyers and sellers agree on terms directly. Buyers contact you through the inquiry form on your listing, and you receive an email notification.
Payment methods: you can store the payment methods you accept in your profile, and buyers see them. Available options are bank transfer (SEPA), PayPal, Stripe / credit card, Klarna, escrow service, Wise and cryptocurrency.
For high-value domains we recommend using an escrow service.
We do not promise a sale or a sale price. Your listing makes your domain visible; the deal is between you and the buyer.
Before you decide
- What if I never sell?
- Your first listing costs nothing, and you pay no commission. You can unpublish or delete a listing at any time.
- Do I lose control of my domain?
- No. Web-Universe.com does not transfer your domain. A transfer only happens if you agree with a buyer, and it takes place outside the platform.
- Do I have to prove that the domain is mine?
- Yes. You add a code as a TXT record at your DNS provider. You can remove the record afterwards; the verified status stays saved.
- Is the marketplace taking a cut?
- No commission. You keep 100% of the sale price.
- Is payment handled for me?
- No. Payment and transfer happen between you and the buyer, outside the platform. For high values, an escrow service is recommended.
